Pure Wonder
Pure Wonder, 27 x 21″ transparent watercolor on d’Arches paper
I love it! I am trying to do my granddaughter age 15. A challenge to get it right!
Ann, it is just a piece of paper so if it doesn’t work, keep going!! If it were easy would you be doing it? hahaha
Susan, could you share which colors you used to create the flesh values?
Thanks
Jack,
I used cad yellow light, quinacrodone coral and cobalt blue for all the flesh tones. Added ultramarine blue, paynes gray and burnt sienna for clothing and under the child, for pops of value. All Daniel Smith paints. (I’m posting on my website so others can read it, in case it is helpful.)
O Susan, This is wonderful. I just love her.
It’s OK if she arrives six times.
<3<3<3 Thank you dear Jackie. I can always count on you and my mother to give me objective feedback on my paintings.
beautiful!
Thank you Pat. Was such fun to paint.
