New Class Began This Week. Still time to join us….

Zagreb Flower Market Memory, 9 x 11″ transparent watercolor

Paint your Travel Photos (or mine) in virtual watercolor classes. Each class stands alone with new references and new demos. We meet Tuesday afternoons July and August 2020. Contact me for individual tickets if you can’t make all 4 Tuesdays during July or August.

These classes are such a treat. We’re painting together, as friends and artists, and it really helps us feel less isolated! Join us!

Wow

Wow, 24 x 18″ transparent watercolor on paper
I’ve been obsessing and have gotten little else accomplished over many hours/days. But I took great joy in painting this portrait, spending so much time with this little force to be reckoned with.

Elliott 18 Months, or The Imp

The Imp, 12 x 12″ transparent Richeson watercolor on Ampersand Claybord

John Singer Sargent: “A portrait is a painting with something wrong with the mouth.”  I laugh every time I think of him saying this, as he was such a master of portraiture.  It is both a curse and a blessing that WAS-H’s take-in is tomorrow so I have to stop and sign it!

Great Model in Liz Hill Workshop

Liz Hill Workshop Great Model, 24 x 18″ mixed media on gessoed/pumiced paper

Whew! 6 min pose, rushed painting brings about energetic lines!  Liz Hill pushed me to take risks!
