Trying a new paper with Matisse as my muse. (paper review, below)
Shizen paper has a very rough, hand-pulled quality. What sets it apart is the way it is sized both internally and on the surface. Thus it allows generous amounts of lifting, almost unheard of for a rough, hand-pulled paper. Nice!
